Event Awards

Individual Events 1st Place – Trophy, 2nd – 8th Place – Medals, Others – Ribbons  Relay– Medals to all places

Team Scoring

Trophies awarded to top 10 finishing teams.  Points for final finish only.
Scoring: 1st – 10,   2nd – 8,   3rd – 6,   4th – 5,   5th – 4,   6th – 3,   7th – 2,   8th – 1,
Heat finishes do not score points.  Relay finishes do not score points.

Affiliation

An athlete who enters with a club affiliation may not change to another club during the meet. Clubs may not combine together in the scoring.

Registration
Fee: Age 5-14

$24 if paid entry received by July 14
$29 if paid entry received July 15-19
$34 if paid entry received on meet day

Registration includes up to 2 field events and 2 individual running events.

$12 for each extra event (limit of 1 extra running and 2 extra field events)

$20 per relay team (relay not included in event limits)

Equipment

Runners must use batons, shot puts, and turbo javs provided by the meet.  No starting blocks.

Event
Conflicts

Athletes at field events should notify the field event official if they have to leave to check in and/or compete at a running event.  If an athlete misses an attempt at a field event (or height for high jump), the field event official may, at their discretion, provide accommodation if it does not disrupt the logistics and time schedule of the event.

Runner
Numbers

Runner numbers should be placed on the front of the jersey. 

Relays

All runners on a relay team must be the same sex.  Each athlete must not exceed the age requirement for the age group of the relay they are competing in.  However, younger age athletes may compete on relays for older age groups.  Relay teams may mix runners from different teams and unattached athletes.

Age 0-4
Events

In the non-competitive events, ribbons (no trophies or medals) will be awarded. No times or places will be recorded.

Food

There will be a refreshment stand at the meet on both days.

Rest rooms

There are rest rooms but no changing facilities.

Sportsmanship

Athletes and/or teams may be ejected from the meet for unsportsmanlike conduct of coaches, athletes, parents, family, or friends. Parents and coaches are responsible for their athletes’ conduct.

Changes from 2018 meet           

One day meet.  No 3000 Meter, 800 Meter Race Walk, or Standing Triple Jump.  No pentathlon or heptathlon.
