We look for motivated young men and women who enjoy hard work, comraderie and working with children. Experience in Track and Field is a plus, but not a must. Counselors can meet community service requirements or earn scholarship pay. CITs work as volunteers. During the Fall, Spring, and Winter our staff is about 45 students - most chosen from our previously experienced staff.

The job entails setting up equipment for each session, and packing it up at the end of the night. The time range is about 5:20 pm to 7:20 pm. Generally, Counselors/CITs travel with an age group while helping out t different events. They work with the young participants as well as the adult volunteers. Having an outgoing and engaging personality helps in this role.

If you think you have the right attributes to be a Counselor or CIT, please fill out and mail in an application form. Return the form as much ahead of the season as possible to give yourself the best chance to be accepted into the program. Students can work for pay or for community service credit.
