The Needham Youth Track Club supports the education and training of children from age 3 1/2 to age 14 in the various events of track and field. We also try to build self-confidence, team work, good sportsmanship, and a sense of fair play in the context of having fun. We welcome children of all abilities including those with physical, mental, or emotional challenges. Feel free to ask us about program scholarships.

Warm Weather Perfect Stage for 2017 Great Bear Run!!
Our 27th Great Bear Run drew runners from xx towns and from 11 months to 92 year young in age.
32-year-old Dan Vassal of Peabody repeated his win in the 5K in 15:24 as 28-year-old Katrina Vassal of Peabody won for the women in 19:07. 11-year-old Zander Laidlaw of Needham won the 1 Mile Run in 5:57 as 44-year-old Emily McCann of Needham was tops for the women in 6:40. 2017 Results. CLCF Panthers Capture 2016 Summer Youth Classic
Almost 500 came to compete in the 27th annual Needham Youth Classic. Competition included 10 running events (from 50 to 3000 meters) and 9 field events. 24 meet records fell despite the hot, humid weather. The Novas Track Club finished in 2nd Place. results and more info and many photos

Windy 2016 Great Bear Run draws Huge Field !!!
Our 26th Great Bear Run drew runners from 57 towns as far away as Europe and from 11 months old to 77 years young in age.
31-year-old Dan Vassallo of Peabody captured the 5K in 15:21 AND the 1M run in 5:00. Jessica Rice of Needham won the women's 5K in 18:07 while Katrina Vassallo of Peabody was tops for the women in the 1M run in 6:0). Results Photos. Story to follow.
